ABOUT JULIE NEWDOLL
After 25 years under the company name Brush with Science, Newdoll is striking out in a different direction under her new music publishing company title Brush with Harmony. Musical comics, videos that set the rich content of her paintings to music, and other musically oriented pursuits are the new theme.
Newdoll was torn between art and science in college, and was never far from a piano. Raising a family involved her in teaching art, developing chemistry games, and writing music for school projects. From working with Nobel Prize winning and National Academy of Science member scientists, Academy Award winning movie special effects artists, and producing almost 40 journal covers in her freelance business, she is topping it all off with a serious career as a composer and multimedia artist, starting, with her first musical graphic novel/comic book in eBook form, Restless Mamma Blues.

1995-1999 Supervising Technical Director, Tippett Studio. Directed the lighting for the special effects in Starship Troopers, Virus, Three Wishes, and The Haunting. Directed the lighting for the special effects in small portions of Armageddon, Practical Magic and other internal projects. Department Head of the Technical Directors.
